Excellent interview, Guy … It’s fascinating to see you inside Google – Motorola, and to hear your insights and rationale for your dedication to this mobile technology, plus your book Author Publisher Entrepreneur (APE). Also, great to hear your references to artisanal wine-making as an analogy for authors writing their artisanal manuscripts using artisanal publishing, or self-publishing. : ) Dennis @sipcalifornia @SipVino @averegroup
Really enjoyed your talk. You mentioned that there were many people in Motorola/Google with more brains, but I would point out that seeing what and where the market is can be more important – and then hand the idea to the technical brains. The next BIG thing is only a THOUGHT away.
I also like your approach on being an author – and selling/evangilizing your own works. I let the publishing company market my first 2 books, and I don’t think they did a very good job. The next one I will do myself.
