Can Shereef Bishay really turn anyone into a programmer in just nine weeks?
Hi,
Please send me the link to the Dev bootcamp class. I would love to learn more.
Thank you,
Sbeen
One can’t help but admire Bishay for making a tidy profit by creating a clear win-win for his students and the tech industry.
I was particularly glad to see this panel discuss the dearth of women in the field. Most people will agree that improved diversity in business results in more effective responses to a variety of stakeholders – and a healthier bottom line.
To increase the number of women in tech, we might consider revising the list of high school course requirements that were set in place long before I graduated 30+ years ago. For example, if all students were required to take a basic coding class, both females and males would have more early opportunities to gain confidence in their practical analytical and problem solving skills while being exposed to an industry that is, as Bishay says, “shaping every single other industry.”
