Filmmaker Randall MacLowry’s documentary “Silicon Valley” traces the origins of the chip industry to its rebellious roots.
What a delicious documentary! I loved it and will be watching it again and again. The only precursor for me was “The Machine that Changed The World” from WGBH and American Experience, which I have seen dozens of times, but this was certainly in more depth. The story of Noyce’s multiple career transitions was certainly with the core of the story — Noyce is the visceral hardware genius pioneer at the center of the story, at least the equal of Steve Jobs in his impact. Great, great work, Mr Maclowry!
